Do I need an appointment for the services provided by the studio?

Yes, both our tattoo and piercing services are appointment based. To secure an appointment we do require a deposit amount unless it is a tattoo consultation.

Do you offer tattoo removal?

We do not offer tattoo removal at this time. Perhaps in the future we will acquire this service. We do however offer tattoo cover up’s, but this is subject to the ability of covering the tattoo.

Are you looking for an apprentice at this time?

No tattoo studio would actively seek out an apprentice. To take on an apprentice takes a lot of commitment, work, time and financial investment with no return for a long time. An apprenticeship lasts between 1-2 years. Generally, a studio will ask you to repay their efforts through menial tasks such as maintaining the studio and perhaps running errands. Other studios may ask for a financial exchange for an apprenticeship but the most common practice is the exchange of work for education.

If you are seeking an apprenticeship the best way to approach this is to find a professional studio or artist you like. Perhaps someone who works in a style similar to that you enjoy or would like to learn. Message the studio and ask if you are able to come down and present them your portfolio so you might secure an apprenticeship opportunity. Make sure you have a strong and diverse portfolio that displays your range and skill as an artist. Remember, it is not a tattoo studios job to teach you to be an artist but merely to transfer the skills from one medium to another. If you go there with a weak portfolio be prepared for a firm no on an apprenticeship.

For piercings we do have some recommendations that will help make the experience run more smoothly.

- Make sure you have had a substantial meal before your appointment.

- Make sure you remember to bring your ID, you may be required to present it.

- The legal age for piercings is 16 years old. If you are younger than 16 years old you will require the consent of a parent. Please keep in mind this is strictly a parent or legal guardian only who can sign off this form. The parent and guardian in this case will always be required to present an ID.

Can I bring a friend or family member to my appointment?

You may bring a friend or family member to your appointment if you desire. However, they will not be allowed to accompany you into the procedure areas. The only exception to this rule is if the client is under 16 years old and have a parent present.

Can I get a tattoo if I am under 18 years old with a parent’s permission?

The answer to this question is a firm no. All clients who wish to get tattooed with our studio has to be 18 years and over without exception. With or without parental consent, tattooing a minor is seen as a form of assault and has been made clear by the government as being illegal.
