Bloodstone Tattoo Collective was established in January 2017 by its director and head tattoo artist Nathan Hamilton. The initial vision of the studio was to innovate beyond both the expectations and reality of the tattoo studio experience for both customers and artists. This would be achieved by establishing a more professional outlook on customer service and by providing a tattoo studio that truly values growth and education. Our goals in terms of growth are to not merely hire in talent but to look to the local community for potential and produce our own artists from within.

When founded in 2017 the studio was located at 49a William street, Lurgan. The studio was a first and second floor property made of up a main reception room and a private tattoo room. Although small in size, this studio would be the studios home for the next 2 years as Nathan built the Bloodstone image.

In May 2019 feeling that Bloodstone had outgrown the studio, we moved to our current property at 82 William street. This larger space allowed us to expand the range of services offered to the public. Our tattoo room is still a private area upstairs away from the public eye, however more space allows us to host guest artists traveling from Europe. We now have a private piercing room on our ground floor as well as a spacious waiting area for consultations.  In September 2019 we were joined by Aoife O'Hagan barbering to provide a walk in barber service on the ground floor of our studio.
